Dr. Fox is one of the most caring and compassionate OBGYNs I have ever met. She never makes you feel silly for asking a question. When I told her about my trauma from my son's birth, she met me right where I was at and really validated how I was feeling. I wish I had her during his birth!

Dr. Fox was nice, but the visit was very fast. The pre-survey/registration took longer than the visit. I don't understand why when I'm asked if I have problems, such as incontinence (which strongly affects my daily life, especially as a mom of littles), feelings of depression, etc., it's not addressed during the visit? What's the point? It's hard to remember everything to ask the doctor, which seems like the point of the pre survey? I also started to tell the nurse, just because I'm used to the nurse asking what I want to discuss with the doctor, but the nurse, although nice, brushed me off and was like oh just ask the doctor, I dont know what she will do. Also, for an annual exam, certain labs are included at no charge through insurance. This is common knowledge and a process that has gone on for decades. I mentioned to the nurse I wanted to get labs done, and she said oh every doctor is different, just ask her. Of course, I forgot, but I shouldn't have had to remember, as I'm accustomed to my previous doctors being thorough and automatically ordering anything that's included in a well-woman exam. I am so not impressed with Vanderbilt as someone new to the area that's looking to establish care.
