Overall very good experience with Maria Cruz but when she asked my permission to use software to record the visit and take AI notes, she said it would make her life a whole lot easier if I gave permission. I felt pressured to say yes even though I didn't want to. I was afraid she might be mad if I didn't say yes.

Dr Cruz was very helpful with me she explained what the process was and what happening. Most of all she really assisted me with getting my colonoscopy scheduled at different location. She made me aware that her office was separate office/facility from main hospital. My intent was to be able to have the procedure at VUMC/OHO and not in Franklin due to distance and office being out of the way from where I live. Dr Cruz was able to facilitate my request got colonoscopy moved to VUMC main campus. I received call within a couple of hours returning home and was able to schedule. I truly appreciated her understanding and assistance with that process

Ms. Cruz was very attentive, answered all my concerns, and was very compassionate. I felt very comfortable after my visit.

I've already recommended her to a family member.

Physician was professional and spoke to me in normal terms. She listened to the answers I gave to her questions. She provided additional information to my concerns. The appt did not feel rushed

She was excellent. I learned things I didn't know.
