Provider was not personable, didn't show concerns about the symptoms I was describing, did not acknowledge all of my concerns, and made eye contact with me one time during my 20 minute visit. I did not feel welcomed by the provider even though I was a new patient to the clinic. I would not recommend this provider to others.

As a fellow healthcare provider, I was shocked by the care I received from Dustin Cross. He first came into the room without knocking, proceeded to text a nurse about a different patient, was 30 minutes late when I was the first appointment of the day and was overall dismissive and condescending. Knowing the level of patient care expected from me, I'm shocked that he continues to be employed by VUMC. I was further reassured in my experience by reading the comments of other patients with him.

I am primarily entering these ratings due to the lack of interaction from my provider. On the day of my visit and since, as there were pictures and lab work submitted and there was no feedback provided from either. While I understand my next steps and that the majority of my labs were normal, I would have liked to receive a follow up of some kind. Especially since this was my first encounter with this provider.
