Dr. Copeland was amazing...he was clear in his medical diagnosis and discussions and extremely caring when I got upset. I always recommend him to others due to his bedside manner.

While I appreciate dr.Copeland working me in during a health scare when my primary doctor wasnt available, he didn't appear to listen to anything I said. I have consistently normal to low blood pressure my entire life but it had spiked to almost double what it typically is. I couldn't even drive myself to the appt. I told him I have NEVER had an issue with blood pressure in my life but that it was spiking so high I could feel it and I couldn't even function properly. He lectured me about my diet and the sodium in cheese and cold cuts. I told him I don't even eat cold cuts yet he continued to tell me how bad they were. This was not diet related and I certainly am not overweight and eat very healthy the majoirty of the time. I also had just had a calcium cardio test the month prior with perfect results. Yet I left with nothing but advice on changing my eating habits, taking walks, and doing deep breath exercises and calming techniques If my blood pressure spiked again. He also said I was taking my blood pressure too frequently and should only take it a couple of times a day. Ii am sorry, but if I can feel it going up and hear whoosh whoosh whoosh in my ears I am going to take my blood pressure. Especially when I find it is 80 to 90 points ABOVE my normal range. It was still high when I left and no answers to what was causing it. Despite me telling him I have always had low to normal blood pressure, when I looked at the portal the post visit comment said 59 yr old female with a history of high blood pressure....
