Jon is an extremely compassionate and thorough provider. He does a wonderful job of coordinating care for a 90-yo patient with several needs that intersect with his speciality. He has been amazing about assisting with referrals outside of his particular scope, but that still fall under the umbrella of ensuring a healthy whole person starts with a healthy mind. We are so appreciative to have him as a provider and hope he never leaves Vanderbilt!

NP Jon Coomer was in contact with my Vanderbilt Neurologist to discuss my condition and medication. They decided on me trying a new medicine. I am in close contact with both providers. It is nice to know that my Vanderbilt providers collaborate to help take care of their patients. Mr. Coomer is a very good nurse practitioner, listens, and communicates well.
