Dr Bond is very attentive and knowledgeable

Dr. Bond did not seem familiar with current information regarding my condition. Also, he did not seem prepared for my appointment, and struggled to answer questions about my medical history from the documents and tests that I provided beforehand. It was as if he read about my condition in a medical textbook from 40 years ago and had not updated his knowledge since then. His communication style lacked clarity, which is unusual for a doctor with his level of experience. I came to Dr. Bond for a second opinion, and I did get one, but it's not an opinion I feel confident in taking.

He lacked empathy. Even though I am high functioning (and know that and am very thankful that it is not worse) he really didn't seem to care about how the condition was affecting me. He was straight forward about there not being anything that could be done and to be thankful it was as limited as it is. He steered me away from any other doctor that might make promises with expensive treatments. While I appreciated his frankness in a way I felt he was just telling me to live with it. He did refer me to the low vision doctor to learn ways to live with it. I would have just appreciated a little more empathy and help from him.

Dr Bond took extra care to make sure we covered Everything and referred to another do he thought might be helpful.

I have a lot of confidence in Dr. Bond.
