I had to find an exam person to inquire when the doctor who finish up exam & advise results. Wait times were way too LONG. Patient was ready to leave w/o seeing the doctor due to long periods of sitting in waiting areas! This is historical; not a first time experience.

The ophthalmologist was good however he is hamstrung by the fact that Vanderbilt doesn't offer many tests for dry eye like Schirmers and TBUT and meibography. He was able to rule out a couple things which was helpful but the triage nurse should have told me more about Vanderbilts limitations. He referred me to someone who could do those tests outside of Vanderbilt

Dr. Baird is very nice, takes time to explain any issues and seems very thorough. We really like him.

This eye doctor is new for me, and I would highly recommend him. He is very personable, patiently answer questions and discussed things I might need to look for in the future regarding my eye health.
