  • Do I need to bring anything to my ultrasound?

    No. You don’t need to bring anything with you to your ultrasound appointment.

  • Where do I park?

    At the Crystal Terrace Location: Parking is located off West End Avenue. When you arrive at Crystal Terrace Building, the entrance to the parking garage is just past the main entrance doors. You can park anywhere there is a blue "Visitor" sign.

    At the One Hundred Oaks Location: Follow the signs to Entrance "A."

  • Who will perform my ultrasound?

    One of our highly qualified sonographers will perform your ultrasound. Most of our sonographers have at least 15 years of specialization in women's imaging and are closely attuned to your individual needs. For your comfort, there is always a female sonographer available to perform your ultrasound.

  • When will my doctor receive the report?

    Our radiologists are always on-site, so, the images from your ultrasound can be read immediately. This allows the results to be faxed to your physician typically within an hour after the completion of your exam. To find out the results, you’ll need to contact your physician’s office. 

  • How can I get copies of the images taken during my ultrasound?

    Vanderbilt Center for Women's Imaging sends the images from your ultrasound directly to your phone. Provide us with your phone number, and we’ll text the pictures directly to you. You’ll be able to save and/or upload them to share with others.
