I can't sing the praises of Dr. Longmuir loudly enough. After loosing a significant portion of vision in both eyes over a period of two years beginning in 2014, I have seen several eye /retina specialists from Knoxville, TN to Emory Eye Institute in Atlanta, GA. Understanding that there is basically no treatment for NAION after the events happen, Dr. Longmuir was the only specialist who was truly empathic and willing to try additional treatment. Dr. Longmuir truly listens and provides a realistic plan with compassion. It is for these reasons I travel over 4 hours for annual follow-up screenings with him. Top notch physician and In my book he's the best!
