Our visit was referred from a specialist. Dr Donahue seemed short, rushed or just not interested to actively and compassionately listening to my concerns. I felt brushed off, rushed and left with questions unanswered after being told abruptly to follow up with the pediatrician and pt for my Childs vestibular/ balamce Issues and that his depth perception was because he just didn't want to pay attention. He didn't seem to care about my concerns. I felt brushed off and left with more questions than had when I arrived

Dr Donohue was not super friendly right off the bat. My baby had to have a routine check for retinopathy of prematurity. He came in (after we waited about 2 hours just to be seen) SUPER briefly put in numbing drops ( I didn't know why) and starts to use prong things to hold my babies eyes open. He explains this AS he's doing it, AND waited literally NO TIME to let the numbing drops work! Very infuriating, since my baby is screaming. Then uses a metal poking instrument to move my babies eye around. I understand if this is apart of the necessary process. What I don't understand is how he cared so little about making me as the mother to a newborn feel more secure about this terrible looking procedure. And how he was explaining this scary stuff WHILE he's doing it. I felt as if he had no bedside manners and was rushing to get out.

Didn't acknowledge the fact that we had been waiting over an hour only to rush through a 10 minute appointment
