About becoming a donor
Currently, 2,000 fellow Tennesseans are waiting for a life-saving organ transplant. Nationally, over 108,000 Americans are on the wait list. That's enough to fill Vanderbilt Stadium almost three times.
Tennesseans can register to be an organ and tissue donor by simply checking yes on your driver's license application or registering at tndonorregistry.org. Be sure to talk to your family about saving lives.

Gerry started smoking when he was just a boy, long before there was any knowledge of associated health risks. He couldn’t know then that it would nearly cost him being able to walk his daughter down the aisle or see her graduate from medical school. However, thanks to the generosity of others, he was able to do just that. Today, Gerry is grateful for every day and each of the donors who gave him such a precious gift, the Gift of Life.
