ICD Support Group
The first Vanderbilt Heart ICD Support Group met on May 19, 2007. Over 80 ICD patients from the Middle Tennessee area attended. Dr. Mark Wathen spoke to the group on the benefits of sudden death prevention and managing the pain of ICDs. He also provided information on recent recall issues.
The Support Group is the ideal forum for ICD patients to receive information on issues that affect their daily lives.
