How OnCall Works

To schedule an OnCall appointment:

Be ready to provide the address for the visit, your phone number, credit card or insurance information, billing address and email. If you request a visit using the online form or app, be alert for a call back from (615) 241-6000 to confirm your visit.

After your visit is confirmed, your OnCall provider will arrive within two hours. (Note: Provider arrival times may be slightly longer when patient volumes are high).

To cancel a scheduled visit, use the cancel feature in the app or call (615) 241-6000. You can cancel with no fee up until your request has been accepted by a provider or within 5 minutes of making your request. After the cancellation window, you will be charged a $15 cancellation fee but not the cost of your visit.

How Much Does OnCall Cost?

Most insurances are accepted. Self-pay visits are $99. Lab tests, first dose medications and additional treatments are priced separately.

Who Are The OnCall Providers?

All Vanderbilt Health OnCall providers are credentialed nurse practitioners employed by Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Your individual OnCall provider will depend on your location and symptoms.
