Aleshia L. Beene, MSN, FNP-BC
As a board-certified family nurse practitioner, Aleshia has a background treating various types of patients with both acute and chronic illnesses in the primary care setting. She has 10 years of nursing experience in both the Adult Emergency Department and Intensive Care Units. Aleshia received her bachelor’s degree from Belmont University and her master’s in nursing from Tennessee State University.
Carol Bowling, MSN, FNP-BC
As a board certified family nurse practitioner, Carol has experience in caring for patients age 18 months through geriatrics in the retail setting and in university student health. She has been a registered nurse for more than 38 years with experience in a variety of settings, which includes critical care, home health, cardiac and thoracic surgery, and research. She has her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Evansville, associate's degree in nursing from Henderson Community College, and her master’s degree in nursing from Tennessee State University.
Nakeisha Micheaux, MSN, FNP-BC
As a board-certified family nurse practitioner, Nakeisha has extensive experience treating a variety of patients in primary care and family medicine as well as acute care within the Vanderbilt Emergency Department. Nakeisha received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Tennessee State University.
Alyssa Miller, AGPCNP-BC, MSN, APRN
Alyssa Miller is a board-certified adult and geriatric nurse practitioner. Alyssa has spent her career working in rehab, memory care, and most recently the primary care setting treating acute and chronic illnesses. Alyssa holds a bachelor's degree in human development from the University of Connecticut, a master's degree in geriatric care from the University of Massachusetts and her bachelors and master's in nursing from Vanderbilt University.
Jennifer Mitchell, MSN, APRN-BC
As a board-certified adult nurse practitioner, Jennifer has over 12 years of experience in healthcare and has provided care for a wide variety of patients. She is a native Nashvillian and currently practices in the Vanderbilt Health OnCall Program. Jennifer received her bachelor’s degree from Lipscomb University and her Master of Science in nursing from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. Jennifer also serves as the clinical director for Vanderbilt Health OnCall.
Adrienne Pennington, MSN, FNP-BC
As a board-certified family nurse practitioner, Adrienne has a variety of experience treating patients of all ages. With 10 years of healthcare experience, she has spent most of her time in inpatient critical care cardiology and ambulatory family medicine, managing acute and chronic illness. She received her master’s degree from Vanderbilt University.
Mary E. Walden, FNP-BC
As a board-certified family nurse practitioner, Mary has experience in caring for patients age infant through geriatric in a family practice setting. She has been a registered nurse for more than 35 years with most of those years spent providing acute care. She has her bachelor’s degree in education, associate's degree in nursing from The University of Tennessee at Martin, and her master’s degree in nursing from Tennessee State University.
M. Ryan Woods, MSN, FNP-BC
As a board-certified family nurse practitioner, Ryan has worked in many areas of healthcare. Most recently, he has worked in primary care treating chronic diseases as well as urgent care needs. Previously, his experience included working in dermatology and specialty medicine. He received his master’s degree from Vanderbilt University.
