Katy Hansen is the director of clinical operations and a nurse practitioner at the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine at Vanderbilt. She provides integrative health consultations and follow-up sessions, guiding and supporting patients as they work toward achieving their health and wellness goals. Katy received her graduate degree from Vanderbilt University with an emphasis on palliative care, particularly pain management.
As a registered nurse, Katy worked in the intensive care unit of Vanderbilt University Medical Center caring for critically ill patients. Prior to nursing, she earned her associates degree from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in Colorado and practiced therapeutic massage for eight years. She worked with people with chronic and acute pain issues including headaches, soft tissue injuries and functional limitations. Katy's diverse background guides her holistic practice.
