Patient | August 3, 2018

I would recommend Dr Chism to any one needing a cancer doctor. Has good communication skills and listens to patients.
Patient | July 30, 2018

Dr. Chism has amazing skills at communicating and caring for his patients. He goes above and beyond with follow up phone calls to make sure I get my medicines refilled, taking them correctly and explaining the results of my CTs and MRIs. I have had a lot of Drs. at Vanderbilt and he ranks #1 with his patients. He always goes the extra mile to bring in Infectious Disease, Cardiology, Pulmonary or whatever speciality Drs he feels needs to be apart of my team.

I don't believe I could be in any better hands than Dr. Chism and his staff. I believe that Dr. Chism is a great doctor and we a better man.

Dr. Chism takes the time to show me results, explain them to me and then discussed courses of action in plain terms. He is a very good doctor.

love Vanderbilt and my care team! all the Drs have been fabulous! dr. Chism is very caring and a great oncologist!
Patient | April 30, 2018

Dr. Chism is a highly educated person on Kidney cancer and I will admit the treatments and medicines - recommendations are a bit hard to follow in the conversations as he discussions potential solutions on how to attack the cancer that has spread in my body. Typically not 1 answer but a review of options and then he makes his recommendation. We listen and go with his guideance. I feel connected enough with Dr. Chism that if I come up with a question later I can always send it in and he DOES respond. Nice that he does that. Much appreciated.
