Dr. Weikert is a good, decent, honest man. He conducts himself with integrity and answers questions. He will occasionally talk down to me, but I think that's because he doesn't know the educational levels of all of his patients (no doctor knows that, I suspect). He tends to limit his responses to the minimum number of syllables required to answer the question. No additional elaboration or explanation is offered, but if I ask a follow-up question, he'll answer it. He seems like he's trying to balance giving me what I want to know and staying on schedule. He also talks to the tech as if I'm not in the room. When I ask what the information he just stated to the tech was, he'll always give me an answer. If I don't ask, he continues without explaining what's so important the he wants the tech to put the info in my medical records.

Dr. Weikert was excellent in the office, as well as, in the two cataract surgeries. He made me feel comfortable and confident of the surgeries. I had no anxiety prior to, during, and after each cataract surgery. I attribute this to Dr. Weikert's confidence that he showed at every interaction I have had with him over the past 30+ years.

Dr Weikert is a very good doctor and came highly recommended from another physician. However, he does not listen and appears to be ready to leave as quickly as he walks into the room. He generally stays in the exam room 3-4 minutes.

He always seems rushed and trying to cram as many appointments into his day as possible. While he will answer questions asked, he makes one feel as thoughhe is doing it on the run. Answers are short and follow on questions don't seem to be encouraged. Time spent with me feels inadequate. I do not need to chat but would like more time to disscuss my condition. I feel rushed in and out. I understand my eyesight needs so I can deal with this because I think he is competent but I would not recommend him to anyoine needing more help understanding their conditions and issues.

Dr. Weikert is very good at what he does. He's always running 100 MPH, but he will take the time to answer my questions and always does so in a clear, concise fashion. His demeanor is professional and cordial. He doesn't condescend when talking with me and treats me like I have a head on my shoulders and can engage in rational thought. I appreciate his manner and his expertise very much!

was there for a routine visit, they numbed and dilated my eyes for the Dr to examine, we talked about the problem I was having he looked into the one eye to see what was going on and never did a thorough exam on either in fact he never even looked at the other eye, he made an appointment for me to see a plastic surgeon for my tear duct and that was it sent me on my way, never asked if there was anything else nor did he say when he wanted to see me back which is usually a year and he'll even state that and put it in the notes but when I got to checkout the receptionists said he only saw the recommendation for the plastic surgeon.....Worst visit ever and I'll probably not go back....had a poor visit last year and said if it was the same or worse this year as far as the lack of concern I definitely would not go back.

after dr told us cataract was getting worse he didn't spend any time trying to discuss doing surgery now versus waiting.. he was very rushed so y wife stayed and continued to ask questions even though he dismissed us. we are now looking for a second opinion and someone who spends time helping me understand what and when I should take y next steps. my wife educated me more than the dr she went online and looked up suregery to help me start to feel comfortable about it. the doctor should have spent time helping me understand options for my sight.

Cataract surgery went well.Better vision except reading.Eyeglass prescription didn't correct vision to 20/20. Optometrist said I needed to see Dr Weikert about why.Dr Weikert said that glasses could only correct my vision to 30/20.I asked why, because eyeglasses could correct it to 20/20 before the cataract surgery.Dr Weikert looked at my eyes and assured me that the cataract surgery went well and my new lenses were clear and everything looked good.The only answer I got as to why they could not be corrected to 20/20 is that 30/20 is good enough to pass a drivers test.I would like my vision to be 20/20 or know why not.

I went for a check up and advice on cataract surgery and get new perscription. He wouldn't rate how bad my cataracts were and said the decision to have surgery was up to me. I shouldn't have bothered to have the check up because he was no help to me in correcting the problems I'm having. He said I saw 20/20 and would have to go to an optomarist to determine my issues with vision. When I told him I was having trouble refocusing after reading and then looking far way, he said nothing could be done because eyes do that with age. Complete waste of time and money!

I was not told what to expect after surgery regarding how my vision would be. My vision was so off for 3 days, double vision, poor depth perception, I became nauseated several times and also developed headaches daily due to the huge chg in vision betw my eyes. Not told how to manage eyes after surgery. How to wear glasses with new eye sight but old prescription.

At this point I was so late that I had to rush through the doctor visit so as to not miss a 5PM appointment. (It is ridiculous that a 2:20 doctor appointment was so mismanaged that I risked missing a 5PM work related appointment) Since the Doctor appointment was rushed, they forgot to give me a prescription for bi-focals (even though I had discussed with nurse) and now I have to take more personal time to return to get that prescription.
