Patient | May 14, 2018

very professional and prompt
Patient | May 1, 2018

He treated my problem, provided advise, follow up appointment in a week. I'm a happy camper!
Patient | May 1, 2018

This was a one-year check-up, so no deep questions/answers were really necessary. Dr. Weikert is very personable and did not seem in a hurry to get patients in and out. The prep staff took care of paperwork. The process is very efficient!
Patient | April 30, 2018

I had heard of Dr. Weikert and am very happy that he is my Ophthalmologist.
Patient | April 30, 2018

It was a very god visit and fruitful

I would recommend him, but hope he spent more time patient
Patient | April 23, 2018

If you are interested in surgery, he may be quite good, I only want surgery as a LAST option.
Patient | April 22, 2018

Dr. Walters - love him!
Patient | April 18, 2018

good
Patient | April 16, 2018

This was just my annual eye exam.
Patient | April 14, 2018

No complaints
Patient | April 10, 2018

Most of time was spent waiting and seeing the technicians, very short consultation with Dr at the end.
Patient | April 10, 2018

as usual good care was received.
Patient | April 9, 2018

Dr. Wiekert is an excellent dr. and one dr. that is very key to me re: proper eye care.
Patient | April 9, 2018

I certainly understood the doctor's words but his response to a question was that all the information was in the folder that I would be given when I set up my appt.
Patient | March 26, 2018

Not much time with doctor. I imagine he felt rushed being so far behind. Maybe too many appointments are being made too close together.
Patient | March 6, 2018

He does not do contact lens anymore. I wear contact lens. I am going to find a new doctor. Not happy about that
Patient | March 6, 2018

Rated it fair due to the long wait times.
Patient | March 5, 2018

just wish after a lengthy wait time that provider didn't rush me through
Patient | February 27, 2018

Provider very congenial and pleasant. Covered all areas related to my purpose for being there.
Patient | February 26, 2018

I already referred my husband. He made an appointment the day of my visit.
Patient | February 21, 2018

The doctor answered questions very briefly.
Patient | February 20, 2018

need to wait to see how my next visit goes according to scheduled appointment before making any recommendations
Patient | February 19, 2018

good
Patient | February 15, 2018

An excellent eye doctor, really cared about my eye problems , examined my eyes thoroughly and talked to me at length about his findings and what he thought I should do.
Patient | February 15, 2018

very little time for personal care---I was just patient #300
Patient | February 13, 2018

after waiting forever I felt rushed and overwhelmed with info in appt. no notes to take home. just had to remember them. dr and staff very courteous and kind.
Patient | February 13, 2018

Danny Weikert is very good. Too many appointments to keep the scheduled times.
Patient | February 12, 2018

Dr. Weikert has helped me on numerous occasions in a professional and expert way. I am very thankful to have him as my eye doctor and have complete confidence in him.
Patient | February 10, 2018

my family has been seeing Dr Weikert for many years, he's a great Dr
Patient | January 30, 2018

I feel Dr. Weikert is a very good doctor. I don't think he spends enough time with the patient.
Patient | January 30, 2018

wait time unacceptable
Patient | January 15, 2018

doctor knowledgeable but doesn't spend a lot of time with you
Patient | January 15, 2018

He spent well less than 1 minute with me. He answers questions when asked but does so shortly with as little information as possible and acts as if he can't wait to leave the room to see another patient. I believe his technical ability is good but his "chairside manner" is poor. I would not recommend him to others because he does not spend enough time with patients. He is only adequate for me because I am well informed ahead of time. I am considering changing eye care physicians.
Patient | January 13, 2018

over the years I have received the best of care from Dr. Weikert - yearly visits and surgeries
Patient | January 8, 2018

He is the best!!!
Patient | January 3, 2018

His explanations were given too rapidly.
Patient | December 31, 2017

He was very rushed - I don't feel like he took the time to check the overall health of my eyes - my main reason for coming in.
Patient | December 22, 2017

was great
Patient | December 18, 2017

Very good experience.
Patient | December 18, 2017

good guy and fine opthamologist
Patient | December 12, 2017

I recommend Dr. Weikert to everyone and always have and always will.
Patient | December 11, 2017

I was a little taken back from his disinterest in my previous records I provided him to review. Some of these questions do not relate. This was my first visit. He was thorough but did not spend much time with me. He is the only physician at the office & it was very busy.
Patient | December 8, 2017

good
Patient | December 7, 2017

This Dr performed the surgery for my husband and he really liked him and what he has done for him, so that's the reason I have decided to choose this Dr. I' m sure he knows what he is doing for my eyes!
Patient | December 7, 2017

It was a very good experience.
Patient | November 8, 2017

Best eye doctor in Nashville
Patient | October 30, 2017

It was my first visit. He was even more than I expected in his time and explanation of what to expect.
Patient | October 1, 2017

He's a real pro
Patient | September 27, 2017

good
Patient | September 25, 2017

If I recommend him to others, I would do so with the caveat that you may have to wait for an hour before being seen.
Patient | September 25, 2017

Overall, quick in and out yearly exam - nothing new - nothing to follow up on unless there is a change.
Patient | September 22, 2017

good
Patient | September 20, 2017

Good experience.
Patient | September 19, 2017

the best! excellent patient rapport! very important
Patient | September 18, 2017

I really like Dr. Daniel Weikert - very professional as is his staff.
Patient | September 8, 2017

Physician always seems hurried.
Patient | September 6, 2017

Dr, Weikert is the BEST.
Patient | September 5, 2017

Have received excellent medical services from provider.
Patient | August 24, 2017

Provider was sitting with back to me when I came into room looking at computer. Did not introduce himself (I was a new patient). He told me he was going to look at my eyes that day. Rolled to the slit lamp, looked in my eyes, rolled to the computer and told me he would see me in a year. The end! I asked for referral to plastic opthamologist and he put it into the computer so the appointment could be made. An introduction would have gone a long way. I would rather the Vanderbilt providers treat the patient than the computer. It seems to me that the patient is less and less important.
Patient | July 24, 2017

Had very poor explanation to questions I ask.
Patient | July 20, 2017

I would never recommend anyone going to see Dr. Weichert. I do not know what has happened to him over the last 2 years but do not get the treatment or time I previously received while in his care.
Patient | July 17, 2017

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Daniel Weikert! He is the best ophthalmologist I have ever used. After my LASIK procedure over 8 years ago, I still have 20/15 vision, and only use 1.25 strength readers when necessary! I highly and often recommend him to anyone who is in need of ophthalmological services!
Patient | July 17, 2017

My procedure went exceptionally well. Very professional treatment. My only slight concern was with the very little time the Doctor actually spent with me prior to, and at the follow-up appointment. Not a complaint, just noting that was his style, I guess.
Patient | July 5, 2017

Great Dr.
Patient | June 26, 2017

This was a 1 year check up. Many of these questions don't have much to do with an eye exam to see if your eyes are all right. My eyes are in good shape so , other than a wait for my eyes to dilate it was a quick, efficient, informative, and pleasant visit. Since I live in Spring Hill , having office time in Spring Hill is delightful.
Patient | June 24, 2017

Dr. Weikert is obviously very busy due to his excellent skills. However, I read some reviews that indicated people were not happy with his people skills. I did not find that to be an issue - he spent enough time explaining my situation and the procedure and follow up necessary to correct my vision. In my opinion Dr. Weikert is an excellent choice for my eye care needs. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking treatment.
Patient | June 22, 2017

recommended this provider to family member
Patient | June 16, 2017

Dr. Weikert and his staff are always excellent.
Patient | May 30, 2017

Dr. Weikert is a good, decent, honest man. He conducts himself with integrity and answers questions. He will occasionally talk down to me, but I think that's because he doesn't know the educational levels of all of his patients (no doctor knows that, I suspect). He tends to limit his responses to the minimum number of syllables required to answer the question. No additional elaboration or explanation is offered, but if I ask a follow-up question, he'll answer it. He seems like he's trying to balance giving me what I want to know and staying on schedule. He also talks to the tech as if I'm not in the room. When I ask what the information he just stated to the tech was, he'll always give me an answer. If I don't ask, he continues without explaining what's so important the he wants the tech to put the info in my medical records.
Patient | May 22, 2017

All good experiences.
