follow up visit for roseacea- he did not even examine my face- he simply asked if i felt it had improved - he took my word and refilled my medication. said to come back in 1 year - i would have thought he would have actually examined me! So I paid $20 for him to take my word and refil my medication

He was great. I came in for a skin check. I have a family history of melanoma and I love the sun. I was pleased that he did not preach to me about my sun exposure which I was already aware of. I found him to be very personable and he answered all of my questions.

On this visit, he spent maybe 3 minutes with me. I was amazed how quickly he came in, took a quick look and left. I'm not sure why he even had me come in.

Dr. Fine is great. Love him. But sometimes he can be a bit quick with the appointment and he's a fast talker with lots of medical terminology. But I still think he's the best.

The attending's behavior was clinically acceptable, but I expect more from my Vanderbilt community. Vanderbilt has a reputation for excellent care. Excellence isn't measured only by the number of RVUs, but the care provided to each patient. I felt as though this was the case during my most recent visit.

I was treated promptly. I had a 0830 appointment. I got to clinic at 0815; I was in the exam room and intake was done by 0825; Dr. Fine entered, pointed to the examine table for me to sit on, ask me what my problem was. I pointed to a spot on my face. I saw it, explained what it was, and that it would get bigger and darker, but that he could freeze it. He saw two other spots on the side of my head, near the ear. He asked if I wanted to freeze it. Yes. He did. Anything else? A spot on my upper leg. A motion with his hand for me to take down my pants. He saw the spot, said it was the same as the face. Freeze it? I said no. With that he left. Total time spent with me, seriously, less than two minutes. No greeting, no introduction of himself, no handshake, no hi, kiss or boo. I was walking out of the clinic at 0830. I didn't need more than he did. It was his mannerism and production line attitude that turned me off.

Dr. Fine is always in a hurry. I was recently diagnosed in the ER at Vanderbilt with having shingles on my nose. I still have a scar and wanted Dr. Fine to look at it. He looked at it and said that it was not the shingles and he didn't know what it could've been since I did not see a dermatiolgist at the time of the breakout. He seemed very unconcerned about my problem and I am not happy with him.
