Dr. Rummo was highly recommended as an orthopedist. I feel very fortunate to have him as my doctor. Not only is he an expert in his field, he has very good communication skills and explained the initial problem clearly and patiently. Which created _____ and a this time patient relationship for the last nearly 3 months. Dr. Rummo is a good listener, expresses care & empathy & confidence.

Patient | May 18, 2017

The only reason I wouldn't recommend is because of the wait time.
Patient | May 8, 2017

It's a shame how bedside manner isn't a matter of importance anymore due to the higher-ups forcing them to shovel patients through
Patient | March 27, 2017

Dr. Rummo was dismissive & disregarded my concerns & gave no support for alternatives tx nor offer Rx for meds. Told me taking 1 of my meds for pain was "doopey." Seemed bored when talking to me.

I already recommended Dr Rummo to another employee.

Patient | January 9, 2017

Dr. Rummo may be the most attentive doc within VUMC. Yoiu should figure out a way to clone him!
Patient | January 2, 2017

Very thorough, listened to me, comfortable "bedside manner"
Patient | December 20, 2016

Dr Rummo seems to be a good person who cannot describe medical issues in a layman's terms. Ex: I have a fracture but could not draw where it was on the bone. Did not seem to have read my rehab report. I was not told all the results listed on the MRI result.
