Dr. Ellis is truly the rarest of physicians...he is absolutely the perfect mix of an interventional EP with unsurpassed surgical skills and someone who truly CARES about his patients, wants to talk and listen and treats them as family! He is absolutely incredible!

Dr. Ellis is the best doctor that I have had at Vanderbilt. He takes time to answer questions and is not quick to dismiss any concerns or questions that I have had. I drive over 2 hours to see him because I trust him more than the doctors in the town that I live in.

When I commented that we were waiting an hour to complete my visit I was told there was a rush of patients to deal with, causing some of the reason for delay. I have high respect for how Dr. Ellis' Staff speaks to and handles people. One issue I brought to Dr. Ellis was the frustration of lab results from the hospital back home to VUMC Coumadin Lab. I seem to always have to follow up because results are not received at VUMC. Who is at fault I don't know, Cumberland Medical Center or VUMC.
