Highly recommend Dr Dowell. However would not recommend the Vanderbilt health center due to lack of communication concerns

Her medical expertise is good for the area HOWEVER her communication skills are horrible. I had bleeding issues during my procedure and nothing was ever explained to me why or what happened. I felt like it was a more in and out and she did not care about explaining anything and that really concerned me.

This was my first visit with this Dr. She came in once I had disrobed and did not even introduce herself, I did not know her name. She asked me a question that if she had read my medical records would have know the answer to. She had no clue about my medical records or conditions. She did not ask if I needed to have any labs done. She was in and out of the room in 5 minutes, which included the exam. I felt violated.

The doctor told me the medical name for what I was experiencing, but didn't say much else about it. Told me there was a prescription for it, ordered the medicine from my pharmacy and that was it. I don't really understand what my ailment is exactly.
