This was the first appointment where I was told I was showing diabetic retinopathy in my eyes and Dr Felch had no "bed side manner." He gave a very quick paced cavalier announcement but didn't explain what it meant for me personally and my future eye health. Have recently switched providers.

Very direct, he seemed knowledgeable, but seemed like the staff was in hurry...... eyes dialated. I was not offered extra sunglasses when leaving. I had to pull off highway because I could barely see. my glasses transition, but I enough. scary.

I felt like he was rushing through my exam because he was running so far behind. Then I had to wait an additional 15 minutes because he failed to give me a prescription and I had to wait for the receptionist to go ask about it and then the nurse to bring it out.

I complained of double vision and slanted vision in my left eye since my first visit, but was treated as if it was a new condition on my 3rd visit. When describing my double vision the doctor basically told me what I was describing was impossible. My new doctor not only understands, but is measuring the condition and tracking the improvement.

As stated previously, Dr. Felch is one of the best physicians I see. He is always very friendly, easy to ask questions, very thorough in his exam, and never a LONG wait like so many other physicians. He is very busy, and yet, he manages to spend quality time with his patients without making them wait long periods like many offices.

My reluctance to recommend Dr. Felch is based SOLELY on my inordinate wait time in the PAST MANY years. My confidence in Dr. Felch is 1,000 per cent, as evidenced by my continuing to come to him for YEARS IN SPITE OF THE LONG WAIT TIME, which is never mentioned or apologized by the staff. An apology would have gone far in "soothing my ruffled feathers"!!!!!
