I had a very positive attitude when I left. I have been on the prescribed medication for a week and already feel better.
Patient | February 13, 2017

Dr. Huston is the first doctor to take a close look at my rash on all parts of my body. This rash has been seen by many doctors for over a year. I am looking forward to getting well under his care.
Patient | January 30, 2017

Best dr. I have ever had, knows his field exceptionally well. Focus is on me & my well being and not on himself.

Patient | January 19, 2017

It's always a good experience seeing Dr. Huston. He is always very good about explaining health issues and about medications. He even saw that I'd been in the ER and we talked about that and he explained more about the visit, etc. I trust his advice or referral for any medical issue.
Patient | January 16, 2017

Patient | December 20, 2016

Dr Huston has always taken a great deal of time with me, explaining things to me about my condition, drawing diagrams, giving me notes. He always recalls my medical history and treatment history.
Patient | December 19, 2016

Patient | November 22, 2016

The doctor is very nice and professional, but when I have a concern, it seems he brushes it off as normal rheumatoid. This may be so, but it does not help with the pain and questions I have.
Patient | October 25, 2016

I have indeed recommended this Doctor.

Patient | October 18, 2016

I've gone to Dr Huston for 20 years, & in my opinion, he is the best Dr. I've ever been to. He has helped me in every way. It will be a sad day for me when he retires.
Patient | October 14, 2016

Excellent Provider.
Patient | October 6, 2016

my daughter sought treatment for symptoms that have been ongoing for 12 years. Her previous Rheumatologist was willing to treat symptoms in spite of blood tests which can change over time. Dr. Hutson could not see past that my daughter was a former addict. She was seeking help for the conditions that led her into addiction.. We wasted our time and money there. I would not recommend Dr. Hutson.

Patient | May 26, 2016

Dr. Huston is an attentive dr. & is among the BEST I have ever had. He is superb!
Patient | May 26, 2016

I wish that I could have access to the diagnosis and treatment plan via email, text , etc. It is a lot to sit and listen to with nothing to read after you leave the office.
Patient | May 24, 2016

The care provider did not contact me after the test results came in I had a msge on the portal and requested him to call me a nurse called. I truly believe I needed to sit down with the provider and discuss the results and my symthoms and what to do and if there is an Internist or another specialist I should see. I was shocked that I would not talk to this provider again and to go back to my primary health care provider. I am a 1989 Breast Cancer survivor patient of Vanderbilt I have expressed I know something is wrong with my immune system or something in my system or functions. I am a very productive business person that need to be well. I am currently back with the primary care provider in a small community and not confident the answers are going to be found. I am discouraged about how my care is being handled and the time that is going by that something is wrong. They have doubled my blood pressure med and I just went on the med fall of 2014 I do not think this is the answer. I have no other answer but when the symthoms are more than I can handle to go to an ER in Nashville and hope to be admitted to diagnosis.
Patient | April 11, 2016

Dr. Huston didn't not ask me if I had any questions or concerns. He asked me a list of questions quickly then got frustrated if I did not know the answer. Keep in my mind, my parents died when I was young and have little knowledge of family history and informed him of this. Also, I feel like a scan may be needed because of the amount of pain I am enduring everyday. I did not feel cared for at all. However, he explained my disease- if he even believes I have it. He has been quick to respond to the online system, so I am thankful for that.
Patient | April 11, 2016

All good except the wait which was unusual.
Patient | April 1, 2016

DR Joseph Huston was my 3rd RA specialist. Its been his exceptional care over the lst several years that my RA is in remission.
Patient | March 29, 2016

#10. If I had not already known how good he is, I probably would never have waited six months to see him, but my wife is his long time patient and we have a lot of confidence in his abilities.
Patient | March 11, 2016

I am confident that he will find s treatment that will ease the pain anc disability of my disease
Patient | March 1, 2016

Dr. Huston is one of the smartest doctor's I have ever met. He wastes no time on frivolities, but gets straight to the matter. He is matter of fact and I have ever confidence in his knowledge and ability to treat my illness.
Patient | February 24, 2016

One of the best doctors at Vanderbilt in my experience.

Patient | January 29, 2016

Patient | January 25, 2016

seem like there always rushed not enough time .
Patient | January 14, 2016

My confidence in this care giver is very high. However, he can be WONDERFUL with explanations, time, listening (like this visit) or he can be just the opposite. I have a lot of respect for him so I tolerate the less friendly helpful visits.
