Dr. Benegas was wonderful, but the wait time was MUCH TOO LONG.
Patient | July 19, 2017

The only reason I would not recommend is because of the consistently long wait times.
Patient | April 17, 2017

All good very nice.
Patient | March 30, 2017

Was pleased with the overall visit for my son.
Patient | January 30, 2017

Dr. Benegas was amazing. I would highly recommend her & she sent us to the ER which ultimately got my daughter to neurosurgery where she was treated & is doing great.
Patient | January 9, 2017

provider i thought should have known answers to some of my questions prior to appointment. Also prior to appointment my son had another test that had already been done and it was overlooked from 4 years ago. It was good the test was performed again but not good the orginal was overlooked.
Patient | January 2, 2017

Love this doctor!!!
Patient | December 28, 2016

Very attentive to check my son & much kindness.
Patient | December 27, 2016

Dr. Benegas was excellent.
Patient | December 21, 2016

Never apologized ____ excessive wait time didn't explain things thoroughly & I left without feeling confident in understanding.
Patient | December 12, 2016

I have never been more dissappointed leaving a doctor's appointment. I do not feel like Dr. Benegas answered any of the questions that I had, in a way we could understand. My husband and I both have prior experience in the medical field, yet neither of us understood fully what was going on. I had to come home and research everything that she said to us to get a clear understanding. I even contacted my optometrist for clarification and guidance. I had high hopes for our first experience with Vanderbilt, but left so dissappointed. If there was another option near by for my child's eye care, I would not come back.
Patient | October 18, 2016

She was great.
Patient | September 1, 2016

Dr. Benegas & staff were all excellent with my daughter.
Patient | September 1, 2016

Maybe ask parent 'is there anything you need to discuss in private?'(without child)... we couldn't explain- in front of our child all that was needed.
Patient | August 23, 2016

Dr. Benegas is always calm and friendly.
Patient | August 10, 2016

She was rude and dismissive toward my son from the moment she came in. Like he didn't matter bc of his disabilities. And our concerns were unimportant to her.She didn't answer any of my questions bc she kept contradicting herself. She was too busy trying to hurry us out bc she was 1 hr behind appointments. And as a specialist she should be ashamed at her behavior. I will never see her again and let everyone know how horrible and rude she was.
Patient | July 26, 2016

Dr. Benegas is excellent with children, very thorough in her assessment, and very articulate regarding explanations. She is a terrific Doctor and we are very confident with her diagnosis of my son and pleased with the care she has demonstrated during our appointments.
