I am very disappointed that I had to come into the office for her to just look at my blood test from 3 weeks before to tell me to stop taking 2 pills. I feel like this could have been addressed with an email and not have me come in a pay for a 2 minute visit and time out of work. I was pretty disappointed.

The young lady who took care of me was concerned about my blood pressure and so was I. She wanted to prescribe meds, but I did not want to take any blood pressure meds that would hurt or injure my voice (I'm a professional singer and teacher of voice). She listened to my concern. Although she advised against it, I told her that I would try to take care without meds. But, when I told her that I would inquire to my friends in my business of singing and see if anyone had similar issues and find out about their meds, she was quite eager to know what they would say. She was real cool in admitting that while she knew about the different classes of meds for blood pressure, she was unaware of any affects with the voice. So, this comforted me that she cared about me and wanted me to do what was best, while at the same time learn something related to my career and life.

This was my first visit with this provider. I have been a patient of this clinic for over 15 years. I would have expected a more friendly first visit. I had to ask the caregiver to order lab tests and for a foot exam. The clinic would not fill my prescriptions without a visit to clinic and then the visit did not follow up on my prior visit.
