Our Hepatology group is skilled in diagnosing and treating all forms of acute and chronic liver disease. Special interests include viral hepatitis, fatty liver disease, liver tumors and autoimmune liver disease. We work closely with patients and their referring physician to develop the best treatment and follow-up care possible.

Vanderbilt has done more than 1,000 transplants since it began the program in 1991. Use of the newest drug treatments has helped to significantly reduce transplant rejection.
