Volunteering for Teens

Please note that our Summer Program for 2009 is closed.  If you are between 16 and 18 years old and wish to volunteer at the Adult Hospital during the school year,
we do have some opportunities available.  However our after-school and weekend hours are limited
Please contact Volunteer Services at 936-3078 for more information.

SUMMER 2010
Please check back for application information in early Spring 2010.
You will need to make a minimum commitment of one 2-3 hour shift for eight weeks with no more than two consecutive weeks of absences.  Should you wish to continue volunteering past the summer months, that opportunity is available as well.

Prior to applying, all summer teen volunteers and their parents or guardians should consider the following:

  • Are you going to summer camps; summer school; mission trips; vacations; have work commitments; involved in sports?
  • Does your summer schedule allow you to volunteer eight weeks with no more than 2 consecutive weeks of absences?
  • Are you available to volunteer once a week, same day and same time every week?
  • Do you have consistent transportation?
