Volunteer At Vanderbilt

GUEST AMBASSADOR - TVC OR MCE
Assist staff in identifying patients and families who need assistance while visiting The Vanderbilt Clinic. Meeting, greeting and escorting patients and families during their visit.

Department: The Vanderbilt Clinic - Guest Services
Volunteers Needed: Monday-Friday 9:00am-12:00pm or 12:00pm-3:00pm
Volunteer Shifts: 2-3 hours per week
Minimum age: 18 years

HEART INSTITUTE/RED COAT AMBASSADOR
Serve as a greeter and first point of contact with Heart Institute patients to develop and strengthen patient relations by providing compassionate and individualized "welcoming" services. Assist patients and families by offering directional support and assistance to their appointments.

Department: Vanderbilt Heart and Vascular Institute (VHVI)
Volunteers Needed: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
Volunteer Shifts: 2 - 4 hours per week
Minimum Age: 18 years old

OUTPATIENT PHYSICAL OR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
To observe and assist staff as they evaluate and treat primarily patients with orthopedic diagnosis. Subspecialties within outpatient orthopedics include Sports Medicine, Spine, Joint Replacement and general orthopedics. Note: Pre PT or OT students preferred.

Department: Outpatient Rehab Services
Volunteers Needed: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 12pm or 1:00pm- 4:00pm
Volunteer Shifts - 2-4 hours per week
Minimum Age: 18 years old
