Yellow Fever
Yellow Fever is another mosquito borne illness found in some parts of Central America, South America and Africa. It is named for the jaundice that it produces. This is a fatal disease in more then 50% of unvaccinated people who contract it. This is a required vaccine for travel throughout some parts of the world. You will receive a yellow card which is a government document that you must have to enter some countries around the world. The vaccine is a live virus vaccine which means that the recipient may develop the disease from the vaccine. You will be carefully screened for this vaccine at your appointment.
