The Code STROKE (click link) is an internal group of dedicated and trained first responders who can manage and treat acute stroke in the early period of onset. Once someone is suspected of having the symptoms of an acute stroke, then the system can be activated by Vanderbilt employees from one of the in-house phones.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Code STROKE system can ONLY be activated within Vanderbilt by Vanderbilt employees.
