What credit cards does VUMC accept?
A:
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express.

Will you accept a debit card?
A:
Yes.
Q:
Do you accept checks electronically?
A:
No, not at this time, but we hope to in the future.
Q:
How will I know my credit card has been charged and posted?
A:
Please allow 3-5 business days for your payment to be posted. At that time, your payment can be viewed online and a receipt will be mailed to you. However, the turnaround in non-peak times could be same day. Please note, on your Vanderbilt Medical Group account, your payment will be applied to the oldest balance first, unless you specify a certain physician.
Q:
My payment has not been posted within the 3-5 business days. what should I do?
A:
Please contact Patient Accounting Representatives, at 615-936-VUMC (8862) or toll free 866-488-4677 between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm (CST). Or click on the Mail button at the top of screen and tell us the amount you paid and for which account but DO NOT give us your credit card information at this time.
Q:
Can a record of my credit card number be kept on file and debited each month for a payment arrangement?
A:
Not at this time. If you have a payment arrangement and would like to make your payment online you will need to do it each month.
