Can I connect to the internet from Vanderbilt?

For patients and visitors that would like network access, a consumer network is available for use. Some rooms are equipped with ethernet access ports. You may access this network wirelessly. The network name (SSID) is 'Vandy'. This is an open wireless network which can only access the Internet and Medical Center websites. Because this network is unencrypted users should be cautious of what information they transmit. If you need help connecting please contact the Helpdesk at (615) 343-4357.

There are computers available for use by Children's Hospital patients and their families.
