July: Family Craft Workshop: Making a Memory Jar

Where: Gilda's Club Nashville

Event Description: Create a treasured object that your whole family can enjoy for years to come. We will provide the materials. Participants are encouraged to bring a family photo and/or special momentos to include in the project. Your entire family is encouraged to attend.

August: Light, Compose, Shoot: Expression through Photography

When: August 13, 2013, 6-8 p.m.
Where: REACH for Survivorship Clinic

Event Description: Photography offers a way to express yourself and capture life's moments. Join us for a photo experience in which we'll discuss basic principles of photography, enjoy group/individual shoot time around campus and share photos. The only thing you need to bring is your camera. All ages are welcome to attend.

September: Sing Me a Story - Celebrating Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
Facilitor: Sing Me a Story Foundation
When: September 12, 2013, 6-8 p.m.
Where: Monroe Carell, Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt (Children's Hospital Theater)

Event Description: This event is for children ages 6 and up. This is an opportunity for children to create a story of their own (about anything) and have it turned into a song. That song will be written and recorded by a professional songwriter, then uploaded on a website for all to enjoy.
