Gordon Peerman, DMin


C. Gordon Peerman is a psychotherapist and consultant in private practice who encourages the use of centering prayer and mindfulness meditation to facilitate health and well being. An Episcopal priest, Gordon holds degrees from the University of Virginia, Yale and Vanderbilt and has taught at Vanderbilt Divinity School. A member of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, he founded the Saint Thomas Stress Reduction Program in 1997 and is a practitioner of yoga, T'ai Chi and Qigong.  Gordon is the aurthor of  Blessed Relief, What Christians Can Learn from Buddhists About Suffering, a lively and sometimes light-hearted journey through nine Buddhist practices that can bring "blessed relief" to a wide range of human suffering.  To find out more or order your copy today CLICK HERE.
