Trish Mixon, LMT, PhD

A massage therapist since 1990, Patricia Mixon works with clients to restore postural balance so muscles can work at optimum efficiency and to enhance the possibility for the body to heal itself. Patricia has had particular success in treating people with headaches, neck and shoulder pain. She received her training as a massage therapist at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy, and is certified in the St. John method of neuromuscular therapy. She completed the four-year professional training in the work of Moshe Feldenkrais, which uses movement and awareness to reduce movement-related pain. Her doctorate from Vanderbilt University explored the philosophy of human embodiment.
