An acupuncture generalist with an emphasis on treatment of people with various painful conditions, Nelson R. Foster was the first physician in the state of Tennessee to receive privileges to practice acupuncture in an accredited teaching hospital. Trained in French energetic acupuncture through the University of California, Los Angeles, Nelson has additional training in Five Elements theory, auriculotherapy, Korean hand acupuncture and Yamamoto new scalp acupuncture.
