What is Raynaud's Phenomenon?
Raynaud's Phenomenon is a condition that occurs when the smallest arteries that carry blood to the fingers and toes spasm when exposed to the cold, excessive stress, or smoking cigarettes. How is Raynaud's Phenomenon treated?
Prevention is important to the treatment of Raynaud's Phenomenon. People with this condition should avoid exposing their fingers and toes to extreme cold temperatures as well as avoiding situations that can be emotionally stressful.
