Biomedical Research
Medical students, house officers, clinical fellows, graduate and postdoctoral students and faculty at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine study and practice medicine in an environment that fosters excellence in education, patient care and research. The medical school encompasses academic, clinical and research programs working together to provide world-class health care to Middle Tennessee.
This development program seeks to find and utilize both established and untapped sources of non-federal funding for Vanderbilt Medical Center faculty members in the basic science research departments.
