Snack Healthy and Happy

How many times have you said, "I don't have time to eat!" Many people are busy these days and often don't make the time to eat. The most commonly skipped meal is breakfast. Most breakfast-skippers also claim they can go until noon or later before they need to eat. Now you would think this would be the world's best weight loss diet. But people who skimp on calories the first half of their day make up for it in the hours between supper and bedtime.

So, what is the best way to take in calories when managing weight is your goal? Spreading calories out throughout the day is a very effective way to maximize your metabolism.

Healthy snacks can be a part of a healthy diet and definitely should be included when one is trying to lose weight. See the boxes on this page for ideas of snacks that are healthy and contain approximately 100 calories.
