You'll receive a phone reminder for your appointment. Free valet parking is available at the front door of The Vanderbilt Clinic. If you need a wheelchair, you may be dropped off at the entrance to The Vanderbilt Clinic, and we will provide wheelchair assistance to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic. Our office is on the first floor of The Vanderbilt Clinic, Suite 1602. There is an information desk in the lobby of The Vanderbilt Clinic and overhead signs will direct you to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic.

I you plan to bring digital x-rays taken by your dentist, please ask your dentist for a CD of the x-rays or ask your dentist to send a digital copy (jpg) to email@example.com. We cannot use or copy a digital x-ray printed on photo paper. Therefore, unless you have a recent digital x-ray or an excellent quality original non-digital x-ray, you will need to have an x-ray made at your appointment. If you're using dental insurance for your visit and you've had a recent x-ray charged to your dental insurance, please note that your dental insurance may not approve another x-ray. If a new x-ray is necessary, you will be responsible for the cost.
Many health insurance plans require a referral from your primary care doctor before you can see a specialist. Please coordinate your referral with your primary care doctor well in advance of your appointment. If you are not sure whether you need a referral or authorization to see our surgeons, please call the Member Services number on your insurance card. Your doctor may fax your referral to us at (615) 343-3747.
Payment for Services
Co-payment or co-insurance will be collected on the date of service according to your insurance plan. If your insurance carrier determines that benefits will not be provided for a particular service, we request payment at the time of service. Our staff can provide an estimate of charges.
