Robert Workman, M.D.

Dr. Workman began his career at the Vanderbilt Dayani Center in 1996 and works with the Executive Physical Program, with a primary focus of promoting healthy lifestyles. He supervises exercise stress tests and Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation classes. He received his M.D. from Harvard Medical School, completed his residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, his internal medicine residency and endocrine fellowship at Vanderbilt Hospital. He is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology as well as certified in ACLS. Dr. Workman has published more than 35 articles in peer reviewed journals, mainly addressing endocrinology topics. Dr. Workman has a long standing interest in exercise physiology and the impact of exercise upon health.
