Mark Jacokes, M.D.
Dr. Jacokes, certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and ACLS, is an assistant professor of medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, and has over 20 years of academic and private medical practice experience in primary care. He received his B.S. from the University of North Carolina and his M.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he was recognized as the outstanding senior internal medicine resident.
Dr. Jacokes performs physical assessments as part of the Vanderbilt Dayani Center Executive Physical Program with same day feedback and counseling. He also oversees the Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programs. Dr. Jacokes is very passionate about preventive health through health screenings, lifestyle changes, and counseling patients to maximize their health.
