Personalized Exercise Program
(PEP)
This free program is designed to give YOU, as a member an individual 15-minute session with an exercise specialist to update, re-evaluate, and change your current physical activity or exercise routine to help you achieve better health and reach your goals safely.
Focus Fridays
These events happen on a given Friday of the month and provide all members the opportunity to have an aspect of their health checked or measured. In the past we have had strength tests, cholesterol, bone density, and glucose screenings, etc. We encourage all members to take part in these!
Monthly Education
Monthly education is provided to our members in midday sessions, generally from noon - 1:00 pm. These sessions address a variety of health topics and are given periodically, so stay tuned for dates! In the past we have provided talks on Exercise Motivation, Strength Training, the Youth Obesity Epidemic, Heart Healthy Eating, Diabetes Nutrition and Weight Loss, and Healthy No-Bake Recipes.
Newsletter
The Vanderbilt Dayani Center has a quarterly newsletter filled with great information regarding events coming up in the Center and the community. This newsletter is a great way to keep members connected!
