Jane Wcislo, P.T., M.S.
Jane Wcislo is the manager for the physical therapy staff, and works clinically with patient treatment of spine pain and other orthopaedic injuries. She received her B.S. in Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan, and her M.S., Advanced Masters in Physical Therapy from Long Island University. In addition, she is a certified Physical Therapist. Jane has extensive training in myofascial release and McKenzie techniques. She successfully treats many patients with diagnoses such as fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis.
She is a seasoned presenter on the topic of fibromyalgia treatment, myofascial release, ergonomics and worksite assessment. In addition, Jane has co-authored presentations to the European Spine Society and the American Orthopaedic Association on changes in trunk strength in asymptomatic patients with abnormal radiographic findings.
Jane began her career at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center 17 years ago, working in a variety of positions including: management and treatment of inpatient and outpatient care, as well as continuing education for the Department of Rehabilitation Services. She joined the Vanderbilt Dayani Center for Health and Wellness team 3 years ago.
