Diagnostic follow-up for breast health

Overview

If an abnormality such as a breast mass is noted during a screening mammogram, other imaging procedure or during a clinical breast examination, you may need diagnostic follow-up evaluation. We provide that diagnostic follow-up for existing patients as well as those who come to us after receiving test results that require additional evaluation.

During a diagnostic follow-up, we will thoroughly review your imaging results and history. Additional mammograms, breast ultrasound or an MRI may be ordered. In some cases, a biopsy may be done to further assess any breast mass or other conditions that concern the radiologist or clinical physician.
