At the Vanderbilt Voice Center, we diagnose, treat and prevent voice problems for many of Nashville's finest voices. We also offer vocal training and consultation, and we're home to one of the largest spasmodic dysphonia practices in the country.
We occupy the seventh floor, east wing of Bill Wilkerson Center for Otolaryngology and Hearing & Speech. Click here for a map and directions. Our facility includes:
- Stroboscopic exam rooms for making digital images of vocal folds
- Patient consultation exam rooms for meeting with doctors
- Treatment suite for laser treatment of certain voice diseases
- Suites equipped with grand pianos and guitars for treating singing voice problems
- Suites for treating speaking voice problems
Most treatment spaces are equipped with audio and video for playback and recording.
Our Team Approach to Voice Care
Our team draws on years of training and experience to offer the best possible care for your voice. Our clinicians are skillfully trained in voice care as well as visual imaging and exam techniques.
We also look for vocal behaviors that may be abusive and create voice problems. That's why it's important to have a team of clinicians with precise training, lengthy experience and measured expertise. We can put these pieces of the puzzle together to find the problem and craft a tailored treatment plan for each patient.
Comprehensive Voice Care
If you have a voice problem, you can find complete care at our center. There is no need for you to meet with a laryngologist at one location and then travel to another clinic to see a speech language pathologist or singing voice specialist. We offer the full spectrum of care in one location.
