Vanderbilt Asthma, Sinus and Allergy Program calculations are reported in grains per cubic meter. This is the method used by certified counting stations for trees, grasses, weeds and molds by the National Allergy Bureau.
Based on these calculations, use the following definitions for low, moderate, high and very high concentration levels:
