Current Studies

HVTN 077

  • Approximately 192 participants will be enrolled network-wide.
  • Phase 1 (approximately 22 people will be enrolled at our site).
  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and immune response to the DNA vaccine prime with an Adenovirus 5 or Adenovirus 35 boost.
  • It is impossible to get HIV from participating in a trial. There is no HIV in the vaccines.  


HVTN 205
 

  • Approximately 225 participants will be enrolled network-wide.
  • Phase 2 (approximately 28 people will be enrolled at our site).
  • Participants in this study can not have had a smallpox vaccine previously.
  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and immune response to the DNA vaccine prime in combination with an MVA boost.
  • It is impossible to get HIV from participating in a trial. There is no HIV in the vaccines.
