Vanderbilt Preoperative Evaluation Center has its second clinic conveniently located at One Hundred Oaks. Surgery patients are evaluated at the clinic within 30 days of their scheduled surgery so the medical team can perform a brief physical exam and gather important patient information. Providing the surgeon and anesthesiologist with advanced information avoids complications and delays the day of surgery. During this preoperative visit, patients are also encouraged to discuss concerns with the medical team or ask specific questions about the surgery or anesthesia.
