Unique Features
While You're Waiting
If you wish to leave the clinic area and go to the food court for a snack or a cup of coffee, we will give you a pager. When the clinic is ready to call you back to the exam room, a text message will be sent to the pager, directing you to return to your clinic entrance. You won't have to worry about missing your appointment.
Patient Check-In
You will have the option of using a credit card or other magnetic stripe card (similar to airport check-in) to access a self-check-in kiosk. These kiosks will be located just outside each clinic front desk area. The kiosk will identify you, confirm personal and insurance information, collect the co-payment if you want to pay there, and complete the check-in.
Access to My Health at Vanderbilt
My Health at Vanderbilt is a secure online program specifiically for Vanderbilt patients. Through this online program, you can view your personal health information and communicate with your physicians via email. Computer stations for patient/family access to My Health at Vanderbilt will be placed throughout the main mall waiting area, food court, and overall common area of Vanderbilt Health at One Hundred Oaks. By accessing My Health at Vanderbilt in this way, prior to your clinic visit, you can also speed up the visit process.
